Requirements to install metal net fencing in the garden

Materials required

  • Fencing net(2mm)
  • Poles(either wooden or metal)
  • Safety gloves
  • Cement mixture

Tools required

  • Safety glasses
  • Hammer
  • Metal cutting tool
  • Metal holding clips
  • Binding wires
  • Inchtape/measuring scale

Method of installing metal net fencing

Step 1- Measure the garden boundaries first

First, you need to measure the boundaries of your garden where you want fencing. For that, place four stones at all the rectangular or square corners(according to shape) of your garden. Now start measuring the length and width of these virtual poles and note them in a notebook. Let the stones be there for some time so that you can fix the poles at the right spots.

Step 2- Open the metal net roll for measurement

Now, wear all the safety kits to avoid any injury from a sharp metal net. Open the roll on the ground carefully and measure the length and the width according to the note.

Generally, we keep the height at 3 to 3.5 feet for small gardens maximum but if you have small plants then you can make it lower up to  2 feet. For bigger gardens, keep the height about 5 feet tall.

Step 3- Mark for metal or wooden poles in garden boundaries

So you need a door and boundaries for your garden fencing. For that, you need extra poles to fix the door. Now, mark all four points in the garden fencing measurement carefully. Two additional points are in a certain direction where you can enter the garden easily.

In bigger lawns, you can mark additional poles for easy handling and stability of fencing. You need poles at the same height as metal net fencing.

If you are considering metal poles then remember that the poles should have multiple holes to bind the metal et fence with binding wires or drill holes in poles.

Step 4- Dig 1 foot for each pole and prepare the cement mixture

So finally, you have 6 points for a small garden; four at corners, and two for the door. Now, dig 1 foot deep to fix the poles strongly in the ground. Digs shouldn't be wider than 10 inches.

Step 5- Place the poles and fill the cement mixture to set

Prepare a strong cement mixture for the hardness and stability of the poles. Place the poles in the holes and fill the cement in each dig one by one. Check the angle of the pole that should be 90 degrees concerning the ground.

Step 6- Cut the metal net according to the measurement

So start the cutting of the metal net with the help of a metal cutting tool for the first three biggest cuts(except the door phase). Carefully collect the pieces and put some weight on them to remove their bend.

Measure the front phase of the fencing again where you will add a door. Cut those pieces separately. Now, measure the door area(height and width) and cut it accordingly.

Step 7- Bind the metal net at the edges of the direction change

Carefully place the first wider piece at the boundaries vertically. Try to place the piece from inside the garden so that you can easily bind them. Simply I mean to keep the pieces inside the boundaries and the poles should be outside.

Bind the first piece with the help of the binding wire carefully. Start from one pole and then move on to the next one.

Repeat this with all the pieces(including the front pieces except the door piece). At the interlinking of metal wire pieces, use extra binding wires to bind each piece with each other from top to bottom, thus it will be more stable.

Step 8- Make the door for fencing

Place two metal rods diagonally on the door metal net piece. Bind these pieces with the help of binding wire tightly.

Now, bind one vertical end of the door with the pole of the original fencing with the help of a binding wire. Now your door is installed. Next, you need to make a temporary lock for the door, for that, you can use a flexible wire piece that is easily attachable to the stable fencing.

Step 9- Bend the sharp ends of the metal net at the corners

In the end, you need to bend and reduce the sharpness of the extra metal net corners. Either bend them with a tool towards the inside or vertically and reduce their sharpness.

Similarly, you can install it for bigger or smaller gardens easily by reducing or adding the number of poles easily. More poles provide more stability to the fencing.

Thus you can install your metal net fencing in gardens safely.

Center pivot sprinkler system cost per-acre, 10-acres, 40-acres cost, parts, and maintenance

Precision irrigation is a very helpful way to save water and increase production. In lack of water conditions precision irrigation is a very effective and futuristic method.  Center pivot irrigation follows the precision irrigation principle. We can save up to 40% of water waste and can increase 15 to 20% production through the Center pivot irrigation system. This system is suitable for crops like maize, soybean , sugarcane , vegetable crops, etc.  Although its installation cost and maintenance cost is high but still less than drip irrigation and it's worth it in bigger crop areas.  Center pivot sprinkler irrigation system cost  Flowing water irrigation is a very irresponsible method these days when we are facing irrigation water-related issues. Center pivot systems use sprinklers to irrigate fixed sections.  This system covers a circular field and irrigates through sprinklers. These sprinklers can be adjusted and controlled precisely according to crop water ne...
