Succulents are good for indoors as they improve the air quality and reduce the toxicity in the air. They need the very least maintenance as fertilization or pest control. But in summer, these species become very sensitive, and careless behavior with succulents may be causing their life completely.
So in summer, Succulents need some adjustment with shifting and need some specific arrangements to keep them alive and reduce their discomfort.

Tips to care succulents in summer
1. Shifting succulents
As I mentioned above, there are both varieties of succulents that grow well in direct sunlight for a couple of hours a day and those who don't like it much in summer.
So in summer, you just need to shift sunlight-sensitive plants in partial shade for most of the time in a day. Otherwise, sunlight may burn the succulent leaves very fast.
For sunlight-loving succulents, you don't need to directly put them in intense sunlight, for that, just keep it 3 to 4 hours before noon in direct sunlight and then shift to partial shade. Though these varieties like sunlight excessive and intense light may burn their leaves too if you keep them for long.
2. Watering succulents
Though it's a popular myth that succulents grow in dry conditions but in reality most of the part is water body. They need water at some stage and in a minimum amount to live.
Don't water your succulents daily but only when you see the soil is getting dry. You can just check it every 2 to 3 days in summer just by touching the upper layer of the soil in pots.
Another important thing while watering succulents is don't water them on their leaves because it can rotten them or melt them. Irrigate only directly in the potting soil.
3. Saving from hot air
In summer, hot air is very common in warm regions. The hot air is not good for succulents for a long time.
Some people love to use hanging pots for their succulents but hot air directly impacts such pots. If you keep them on the ground with some air barrier, it'll help them to be comfortable even in hot air and in summer.
4. Increasing humidity
Succulents love humidity at a moderate level. In summer, humidity goes very low with spring progressing.
Succulent plants like moderate humidity to grow even in summer. Naturally, it's not possible to create moisture in the air near plants but you can do it manually.
You can keep the plants close and put a wide container filled with water close to these plants. With water vaporization, you can increase humidity better than natural succulents get in summer.
This is an effective method and I use to do it with my succulents on my roof.
5. Using a green net as shelter
Sometimes it may happen that you don't have enough space for shifting the succulents in the home garden because of other plants and pots.
In such cases, succulents may get die quicker if they don't get shade. Also, you can't completely keep them in the dark for long as they'll die.
So in such complicated situations, you have simple solutions to deal with them. Just use a green net sunlight filter to provide temporary shelter to your succulents. It is very affordable and good to keep the succulent requirements of sunlight and save them from dark and intense sunlight as well.
