Type of landscape

Landscaping has different purposes in lawns and gardens. Following are some basic types of landscaping that serve to fulfill different purposes-

  • Office Landscaping

For sitting, meeting, studying, mood freshness, and positivity, office landscape designs are very useful. The office doesn't mean that you need to make it inside the office room. If the office is outside, then it is decent.

  • Natural landscaping

Natural landscaping serves a very distinct purpose that mainly focuses on the natural look of the garden providing inner peace and releasing stress. We generally don't include pots in it. We just arrange the landscaping naturally. Meadows, trees, and shrubs are very good examples of natural landscaping.

These kind of landscaping are good to start morning positively with a cup of tea or coffee.

  • House decor landscaping

This is the primary choice of most people. They want to decorate their garden with various garden components like pots, shrub designs, turf designs, dinner tables, sitting benches, etc.

But for now, for natural design, you need the following requirements-

  • Wildflower seeds
  • Sand
  • Compost
  • Spade
  • Plastic sheet
  • Wildflower seeds
  • Plant seeds

Steps guide to design a natural landscape

Considering you already have a small vegetable or houseplant garden, you can follow these steps to make it a more natural landscape design-

Step 1- At first, you should be clear in mind that things should be relevant but random most importantly as things are present in the natural landscape. Keep the climate conditions and your area weather to consider a design

Step 2- Measure the area roughly. Now, choose native plant seeds like wildflowers, grass, etc. You will prepare a meadow with that. Consider you are in a jungle and then squeeze that in a section as small as your garden.

Step 3- Don't remove your trees and shrubs from the garden. They are more helpful to provide it natural look.

Step 4- Don't leave any space for the path but place some stones there so that plants will not be damaged and things will be natural.

Step 5- Don't remove moss if it is growing. But things will be easier if you will create a drainage system or slope in that area. If you are starting from scratch then making a natural slope up and down in the space is very important. You should use stones and cover them with soil.

Step 6- Don't outline the border or it will look more fancy to you and you can't feel the natural vibe then.

Step 7- But be careful if you have a very big land. You shouldn't make a meadow there because of animal threats like snakes.

How much time it takes

To design this, it will hardly take 2 to 3 days. But to become a natural landscape, it may take at least a month. But you will start getting the vibe of nature after 20 days.

Don't remove the dry leaves from the trees, let them grow to take a seasonal feel.

Lawn meadows are perennial mostly but they may create some problems like mosquitoes, insects, and moles if the lawn is bigger.

The overall cost of a small natural garden landscape

It is one of the cheapest garden landscape designs to make on a very low budget. You just have to shift things and invest in seeds, compost, and other furnitures to sit there.

But still, for more systematic cost, the following is an estimation-

  • Seeds cost- $10
  • Management cost- $60
  • Other requirements cost- $70

Total cost- $140 to $150
